Finger Gripper Exerciser with Wrist Strap (YG-366)

A silicone finger gripper and finger exerciser that works the opposite way to a normal hand gripper: instead of squeezing, you spread your fingers against the band. It’s for gym-goers who want balanced hands, guitar and keyboard players, climbers, cricketers and anyone who types or scrolls for hours.

The black silicone band has a loop for each finger and a stem marked 13 lb, 17 lb and 21 lb. Fasten the strap on your wrist, hook the stem into its buckle at the mark you want, slip your fingertips into the loops and open your hand, with the band running along the back of your hand. The 21 lb mark gives the strongest pull and 13 lb the lightest.

How to use it

1. 1Fasten the strap around your wrist with the hook-and-loop closure.
2. 2Hook the stem into the buckle at 13 lb for your first sessions.
3. 3Put each fingertip into a loop.
4. 4Spread your fingers wide, hold for a second, then close slowly.
5. 5Do 2–3 sets of 15 per hand, and move to 17 lb, then 21 lb, as it gets easy.

You can also work one finger at a time: keep the others still and lift a single finger against its loop. It’s a handy warm-up before guitar or keyboard practice.

Looking after it

• Rinse the silicone with mild soapy water and let it air-dry.
• Keep it out of direct sun and away from sharp edges.
• Check the loops for small tears before each session.

Tip: pair it with a hand gripper. Squeeze with the gripper, then open with the finger exerciser, so both sides of your hand get stronger.
