Exceed Hand Sensor Remote Control Helicopter, Rechargeable

A hand sensor remote control helicopter for teens, and for younger children flying with an adult, that flies two ways: hold your palm under it and it climbs to meet your hand, or use the remote to take off, go up and come down. This is the Exceed Induction Flight helicopter, a light, rechargeable flyer for indoor fun when it’s too hot to play outside.

An infrared sensor under the body senses how close your hand is, so moving your palm up and down makes it rise and drop. The blue-and-black body has two sets of rotor blades, a tail and landing skids, and flashing lights add to the show.

Why you’ll like it

• Two ways to flyUse your hand for quick fun, or the remote to take off, climb and land.
• RechargeableThe helicopter charges with the USB cable in the box; there’s no battery to swap.
• Safety stopIt waits a few seconds after you switch it on, and the blades stop if it hits something.
• LightsFlashing lights make it easy to follow in a dim room.

How to fly it

1. 1Charge the helicopter with the USB cable before the first flight.
2. 2Put batteries in the remote. Switch on the helicopter first, then the remote.
3. 3Stand it on a flat floor in an open room. It lifts off a few seconds after you start it.
4. 4Hold your palm under it to make it climb, or use the remote buttons.
5. 5To land, use the remote, or catch it gently from the side and switch it off.

Good to know

• It flies up and down and hovers; it doesn’t steer forwards or sideways like a full remote control helicopter.
• Fly it indoors, away from ceiling fans, wind and strong sunlight, which can confuse the sensor.
• The box marks it for ages 14 and up. Younger children should only fly it with an adult in charge, and everyone should keep fingers, hair and faces clear of the blades.
