FT-2031 Wooden Design Computer Speakers, Bluetooth or Wired

The FT-2031 is a pair of compact computer speakers for laptops, desktop computers and TVs, with wood-grain sides and a glossy black front. Put one on each side of the screen and you get proper left-and-right stereo sound, a big step up from the small speakers built into most laptops.

Choose the type that suits you. The Bluetooth type plays wirelessly from your phone and also has a 3.5 mm audio plug. The wired (AUX) type connects with the 3.5 mm plug only, with no pairing at all. Both take their power from a USB port, so they run from a laptop, a phone charger or a power bank. With a phone and a power bank, the music keeps going through load-shedding.

• Neat on a deskThe wood-grain finish and glossy front look tidy on a study table or office desk.

Which type to choose

• Bluetooth: for playing from your phone without a cable, plus a 3.5 mm plug for a computer or TV.
• Wired (AUX): for a desktop computer, laptop or TV with a 3.5 mm headphone socket. Plug in and play.
